1988 Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster CASE QUEEN: these years were made using parts from the Fullerton plant during transition. (Corona Plant 1985 - 1989) Serial Number 8584, The Original Fender Owner’s Manual, Warranty Card, Initialled Inspection Tag, Certification included, Ashtray, Case Keys, and the original purchase receipt are all included as shown in the picture with the case.

Beautiful Trans Butterscotch Blonde. I selected the condition as Excellent, it is easily Excellent+++. With the exception of the unnoticeable “unless you look for them” superficial pick marks on the body in the area shown in the last picture, the body is completely clean from pick or wear marks, front & back — no buckle rash etc . There are a couple/few minor fine scratch lines in the lacquer on the fretboard in a couple of spots, which will fade over playing time . None of which described have any impact on playability of the guitar. The fret adjustment screw still has the original tape cover over the access slot.

You will be hard pressed to see a 1988 AVRI in as pristine condition as this one, unless it were a new one. The frets show no wear. She’s Minty.
