2013 Steinway Boston 50"
This beautiful concert upright is ready for its new home. Lovely crisp tone and silky, smooth feel on the keys.
Restored back to new performance and playing experience. Beautiful piano with a very full sound for its small footprint.
Includes bench - opens for storing music books.
The action has been fully serviced. Each part is individually checked for functionality and performance. All felts and leather pads are replaced if they are no longer operating properly. Wooden parts are individually tested for strength and life span. Any weak parts get replaced as needed. The friction points for each note are verified or corrected if they are not at the proper friction (about 8-10 friction points per note).
The hammers were resurfaced, which means they have fresh layer on them because a very thin layer was carefully removed; recreating the original "pointy" profile. Having a fresh hammer is essential for creating a beautiful tone quality. After the parts are all put back together, the piano is fully regulated and adjusted back to factory specs.
