A 1958 Made in USA Harmony made for Sears, Silvertone Cowboy Guitar.We love our Cowboy Guitars around here! We have sold dozens over the years!!

No..this is not the same Silvertone Cowboy Guitar we sold last month..We found another!!

What we have today, is a great relic that is still very playable today. Most of these Cowboy Guitars have been beaten up and have so many missing parts, that if you can find one, it probably isn’t playable. This 1958 Cowboy Scene Guitar is in great shape. These guitars were only made two years. From 1958 thru 1959. This one has the date stamp of S-58 indicating a 1958 model. See pic 5. First year!!

This guitar has the same cowboy scene as the Gene Autry Cowboy guitar, only without the Gene Autry Signature. It was made to sell in the Sears Catalogs. Made by Harmony in Chicago IL...it has the Harmony Model number stamp up by the neck block inside of H612.  It has Harmony parts such as the tuners and bridge ..All original!! I included a pic from the Cowboy Guitar Book to help with identifying it...see pic 10...

I got this one with the original Waverly Open Back Tuners, wood nut, and wood endpin as well as the  tailpiece...The frets are hardly even used at all ...  it is still fully functional. ..

This guitar plays with very nice easy to play action so it is not a wall hanger.  The only area of wear we could find was on the side. Probably from being stored in the case. See pic 9.....  It has a Short 21 1/2 inch scale neck...it measures 11 1/4 inch by 32 3/4 inches long..the nut measures 1 5/8 inches..This is not a toy..its a 1/2 size playing guitar that sounds great and plays even better! Our Tech did a great job! Check those pics!

I have two of these which are on the wall of my showroom. I have been collecting Cowboy Guitars for a long time now and have many. This one needs to be played again. A great Showpiece or player that will get a lot of looks. Any vintage guitar collector would love to have this one in their collection.

Check out the original Cowboy and Indians Soft Shell Case. These are getting very hard to find and this one came with this cool guitar. What an awesome historic guitar outfit!
