This is a 1990 Selmer Paris Tenor Super Action Series ii that has been excellently preserved. This was my fathers in his days as a studio musician in New York City in the late 80's to mid-90's. It has been treated with excellent care and had new pads put on sometime in 2017. This Sax is a true professional players Sax, the unbelievable sound you get out of it is truly unique. You know, that sound of that Sax punching through when you hear Bruce Springsteen & the E Street band? That's that sound! Best way I can describe what a beautiful sounding Sax this is.
As I am Luthier/Guitar tech and traveling musician working at StewMac as well. I am passing this instrument onto a new passionate Sax player, whos looking to harness that true Sax tone.
