Lakland 55-94 Deluxe Exotic Walnut Burl Custom. One-of-a-kind Custom. A 5-String Bass shown in a natural Ash with a premium quilted Walnut Burl top. The top is unbelieveably great. Maple quarter-sawn neck with graphite reinforcement bars and a rosewood fingerboard with birdseye dot markers. Lots of cool wood on this one. Lakland 5-string basses feature a B-string that is tight, well defined and certainly not noodlely like most 5 strings. This is accomplished by combining a 35" scale with the solid anchoring of the string through the body design. The neck on Lakland, 55 series basses are slightly narrower than other 5-strings, making them as accessible as they are tonally sound.
