About This Listing

Here is a brand new The Loar LM-600-VS mandolin. These mandolins start out as pretty great little instruments, but we have gone the extra mile with this one by including our own Cumberland Acoustic Mandolin Bridge and our renowned Pro-Style Set-Up. Here's what we do...

We start by making a bridge with top quality ebony and close tolerance specifications that we built especially for this mandolin. We then professionally fit this bridge to the mandolin top. Then we check/adjust the truss rod adjustment for the perfect amount of relief on the fretboard. We follow up by checking each and every fret, making sure they are all the correct height and level with one another. Then we meticulously recrown and polish each and every fret. We top off this set-up procedure with a fresh set of strings and play it (a lot) to make sure everything is "just so".

Overview:

The Loar LM-600 F-style mandolin boasts professional grade sound and features at a very affordable price. Crafted and carved from solid spruce and maple with an ebony fretboard, the LM-600 is sonically comparable to the most prized vintage mandolins from the 1920s with a crystal-clear and full tone. A comfortable, rounded V-profile neck and larger frets allow for playing with less force on the strings and more speed. Premium tuners, adjustable truss rod and bridge, and a lifetime warranty will have the LM-600 in top shape for touring and recording musicians for decades to come.

More Overview:
