Vintage Cool Pioneer PL-41 Turntable with Shure Phono Cartridge and original owners manual. This was built and designed in Japan in the early 1960s. Somewhere along the line, something was dropped on the top of the turntable, broke the dust cover, broke the cueing arm and broke the arm holder. I re-glued the dust cover back together and found a vintage arm holder that is actually too tall, but works well-although the dust cover rests on the arm. It has a new belt, is totally manual operation, incomparable vintage Japanese design, attention to detail, craftsmanship, fit, finish, cosmetic, parts quality and potential performance. The speed is correct, both 33 and 45 rpm, but there is a noticeable hum on one channel. It will need some restoration/repair. The arm bearings feel good, the turntable has a some small scratches, nicks, dings, nothing too serious. These vintage PL-41's are quite attractive and well designed. They are known for their excellent sound, when working. They were built for performance and sound quality. It will be sold as is, as described, needs repair.
