Gibson L-5 Custom Historic Art Series 2003 Natural

Amazing Gibson Custom Historic Art Series L-5 in Mint condition! Only the bottom detail above the L5 logo has some tarnish! This Guitar was built and signed by Hutch himself while managing the L-5 division. The wood grain on the sides and back looks 3-D and is just as stunning as the tone of the Guitar.
This is truly a work of art for playing or as a collection piece as the sind was built and checked by Hutch himself. This guitar was custom ordered and picked up at the factory in 2003 and has only been shipped once to me by the original owner.
This is everything you want in a new L-5 but at $6,395 instead of around $13,000 or so for a new one. It’s already aged 15 years and the tone just keeps getting better! I am quoting expensive shipping because I do not want this Guitar damaged by the Post Office or some other slow shipping ! If this doesn’t sell by Jan 1, 2018 I am pulling the listing and wait for a better environment to sell such a nice Jazz Guitar!! I do not have a policy of returns because I am afraid of damage during shipment. I do not believe guitars of this quality should ever be shipped. I am willing to meet a buyer at the Phila airport to do the transfer. An airline ticket to PHL might not cost too much more than shipping!
