This is a set of Kluson guitar tuners from the late 40s/early 50s in nickel plate with metal buttons. These tuners were found on most Martin style 18 guitars (5, 0, 00, 000 and D) from '47 into the early 50s. This is often a difficult set to find because the pot metal buttons on these tuners frequently crack/crumble and disintegrate. The buttons on this set are in perfect condition. The set is actually made up of tuners from two different sets...Kluson changed the design of the 'pillow block' (the part of the tuner that secures the worm gear) at some point, and some of these tuners have the earlier pillow block and others have the later block. It is a minor cosmetic issue and has nothing to do with function. The final photo shows the difference. I have neither bushings nor mounting screws to supply with the tuners. US shipping only, no international shipping offered. See my other listings for lots more tuners, parts, vintage and new guitars.
