If you haven’t played one of Takamine’s Thinline acoustic models, get ready for a surprise. The TSP158C-SBL12 is a super comfortable 12-string to play and while it’s obviously designed to be amplified, the thinline arched top and back put out a lot more acoustic tone than you’d expect from a guitar that’s just over 2” deep.
Naturally, the plugged-in sound is exactly what you’ve come to expect from Takamine. It’s full, quiet, and resistant to feedback—perfect for performing on any size stage.
It looks great, too, with Sitka spruce top and arched maple back/sides in see-thru red, with multi-ply binding and abalone rosette. The mahogany neck features a bound ebony fingerboard, deluxe inlays and gold-plated tuners. A Takamine semi-hardshell case is included.
