Fender Player Stratocaster with Maple Fretboard 2018 - Upgraded!

You're looking at a very special Fender Player Series Strat. This guitar is in excellent condition. I purchased it new a few years ago and it has been played very lightly. It has never been gigged with. Cosmetically, you can see from the photos that this guitar has as a stunning flamed maple neck. I recently had a professional fret end dressing done by a local luthier. While the guitar was in for the fret dressing, I had the original pickups replaced with a set of Fender Custom Shop Pure Vintage 59's. I did have the player series plastic pickup covers put on the new set of 59's. The 59's come with a parchment-colored set. I did this so all the plastic parts matched on the guitar. The original player series pickups will be included in the 59's case with the parchment-colored covers. I've also replaced the original string tree with an American standard. This guitar plays and sounds amazing. I truthfully struggled whether to sell my 60th Anniversary Strat and keep this one. So, for far less than a new Player Strat you're getting upgraded pickups and a nice Fender Classic hard-shell case. All in, I've invested over $1,200 in this listing. Thanks for looking.
