The EDS-1275 Doubleneck is an iconic design that has captured the imaginations of players for generations, and now — thanks to Gibson Custom — you can have one of your very own. This spot-on replica of a vintage EDS-1275 Doubleneck enables you to coax natural-sounding chime and chorus from the 12-string neck, while churning out a searing solo with the 6-string neck. Experience the power, punch, and clarity of classic PAF pickups, courtesy of unpotted CustomBucker humbuckers, while Authentic Slim "C"-shaped necks with Indian rosewood fingerboards ensure a comfortable playing experience. To top it off, the EDS-1275 Doubleneck boasts ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridges and nickel tailpieces that are chock-full of vintage tone and sustain. The Gibson Custom EDS-1275 Doubleneck is a must-have for every guitar collector.

With the EDS-1275 Doubleneck, you get two guitars in one. Its upper neck offers true 12-string performance — all the jangle and tone you can handle. Its lower neck is a standard Gibson 6-string, straightforward and great-sounding. Best of all, both necks can be activated at the same time, enabling you to achieve spaced-out sounds with sympathetic vibrations (amongst countless other sonic textures).

Gibson paid just as much attention to this guitar's electronics as they did to its aesthetics. Every part of its internal signal path was designed to deliver dead-on vintage tone. Of course, it's next to impossible to find genuine '50s PAFs (even for Gibson). Instead, the Gibson Custom EDS-1275 Doubleneck sports four unpotted CustomBucker humbuckers. The CustomBucker is the most historically accurate PAF copy ever. This instrument nails the original look, sound, and feel of a vintage Gibson EDS-1275 Doubleneck.

When they designed the EDS-1275 Doubleneck, the folks at Gibson Custom didn’t hold back — it’s an exact re-creation, from its 1-piece solid mahogany body to its Slim C-shaped necks. Its Indian rosewood fingerboards boast 20 frets, celluloid split-parallelogram inlays, a 1.69-inch nut width, and a 24.75–inch scale, along with ABR-1 Tune-o-matic bridges and nickel tailpieces.
