Up for sale we have a rare 1954 Danelectro Lapsteel guitar in original Brown finish with hardshell case. The instrument is in very nice overall condition showing only light wear in a few areas. A handful of small dings and dents and an area of worn finish at the tip of the headstock, but for the most part a nice and tidy example of this early and scarce lapsteel. Structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. The instrument measures 31" long from end to end, 6 7/8" wide at the body and 1 1/2" thick. It features one single coil pickup with controls for volume and tone, cupcake knobs and a hardwired lead. Electronics function as they should and the instrument plays great. Weighs in at 4 lbs.
