My semi-annual thinning of the herd, when I look back and realize how many I've bought, and then tough decisions must be made.
Purchased this guitar at Auction about a year ago, and it's mostly just hung on the wall as a decoration, so I can let it go. The guitar is in great condition for its age, but good condition overall. Definitely shows its age with marks and nicks throughout, but it just adds to the character of a made in the US instrument that has been around for a while and stood the test of time. Where the neck hangs over the body, it angles down a bit towards the body. I had it professionally worked on and set up as best we could without a major restoration. The frets were leveled, and the bridge was shimmed as part of the set up. Up to the 12th-14th fret, it plays flawlessly and above that, it's hit or miss. Tuners are not original, but working well. Everything else appears to be original, and it still has the lower strap button. There is very minor separation at the treble side lower bout binding. Something I doubt anyone would notice or pick out on an instrument of its age, but wanted to disclose it.
No case, but will be packed with care.
