The Lomo made Neumann KM64 for half the price! An absolutely phenomenal cardiod tube condenser microphone from Lomo. Looking for high value low investment microphone that sounds good on anything you throw at it? This will not disappoint. Includes mic, original case, threaded interchangeable capsule, cables and PSU, all in fantastic shape with no issues.

It’s incredible on vocal, strings and low watt amps. Has been my go to for acoustic guitar. Guy I bought it from was a phenomenal picker (Chet Atkins stuff) and this was his primary mic. His recordings were absolutely incredible too which led me to buy the mic! However like all my other impulsive buys, I’ve seen something else I must have so this has gotta go :)

This mic pairs beautifully with a vintage AKG 451 EB sdc as shown in my pictures, which I have a few of for sale (unlisted) I could sell as a packag if you like.

Yields a warm, lifelike soundstage that makes me feel like I’m in the room with the guitar, while capturing lows and mods in a unique and beautiful way no other mic I’ve heard can do. The installed tube has a Mullard-like dark and wooley vibe that has a slight ribbon-esque vibe, picking up mid-low better than any other mic I own. presence Is clear and forward. When paired with a bright and shiny SDC it’s a match made in heaven. Especially on acoustic guitar. Watch the video below to hear it on its own on a vintage Gibson J-45 all by itself. That’s the video that made ME originally but this mic.

The last KMK-39 sold on Reverb 2 years ago for $2499 and it did not have this desirable CBCK capsule.

This is the flagship medium diaphragm condenser from Lomo. Has had the EAG PSU mod completed recently and fully serviced! Was also sent to THE Lomo mic tech guru who said, “the CBCK capsule on this mic is the best capsule Lomo ever made.“ I couldn’t agree more.

Mic, PSU, cables and mic case are in pristine like new condition. New genuine Neutrik XLR-M connector on the original cable! Flawless operation, no scratches, rips or dents. A true time capsule of a survivor.

Watch the video in this listing to hear this amazing mic in action on an old Gibson J-45.
