Very very cool retro vintage Heathkit AJ-43D Stereo Am/Fm Analogue tuner with wood cabinet. It was quality made and designed in the USA when Heathkit was at top of their game. It has a very cool retro "car dash" looking design with back lit lighting. It works and sounds good, illuminates the stereo beacon light. The FM tuning dial string must be broke as the indicator on the front does not move, but it does tune in stations, showing signal strength meter reaction. The am tuning meter works. It sounds very nice, open and musical, very analogue sounding. The back metal grill is set in the back of the cabinet carefully, as the cabinet support for the grill is broken, can be easily resolved. This tuner is very cool, basically looks like the car dash of 1957 Chevy. The controls are under the bottom panel on the front-hidden. The on off switch is carefully hidden as well, clever. It will need some cleaning, is complete, functionally works, but the dial string is broken for FM, but still tunes.
