About This Listing

This is an excellent opportunity to bag yourself a very rare instrument. From the production run of 1,000 instruments, there were only 5 made left-handed.

This 4001CS was ordered in May 1991 from (now defunct) 'Session Music' on Belfast's Dublin Road. It was delivered in November '91. I have been the sole owner.

It has never been gigged but has been played at home. I 'retired' it in the early 2000's. Since then it's been safely stored in its hard case.

As has been noted elsewhere, the special cream finish on early serial number 4001CS basses is somewhat brittle and the finish can chip at certain edges. Refer to the photographs to see where this instrument is affected. There's also a minor ding near the end pin and a small patch of discolouration midway up the neck. Again check the photos.

All the requisite supporting items are present and correct (certificate of authenticity, cleaning cloth, adjustment key, warranty etc.).
