Original vintage 1965 Gretsch 6122 Chet Atkins country gentleman in lovely playing condition, with original case! ‘65 was a good year for Gretsch, and a good year for the gent, and this one is no exception. She plays beautifully, excellent neck, and those filtertron/ supertron pickups are pure magic.
Cosmetically, she’s got lots of yummy vintage wear and patina, lots of finish and play wear, but she’s all solid, and the binging is in remarkably good condition. The case is quite tattered, but she’s still in the fight. Killer, KILLER vintage sled. Enjoy!
