Description: Super clean example of this ‘57 Two-Tone re-issue from 1990. Built in Fender’s Corona CA facility, home of the Dream Factory, this stunner of the “U.S. Vintage Series” is as blemish free and un-played as one is likely to find.
The crease below the neck pick-up visible in the photo is in the protective plastic sheet, not in the pick guard itself. The existence of this protective layer after 30 plus years points to the remarkable lack of play wear evident.
She retains the factory installed and period appropriate 3-way toggle, but the 5-way is in the case should you decide. The white tipped tremolo bar and two extra springs are in the case pocket as well, with the original hang tag and candy (see pics).
Very cool, very Buddy Holly, exceptionally clean example of an American design classic.
