40" console style upright piano from WWll era with beautiful and rare case. Steinway Model 40 serial# 312041 is in very good condition and has been expertly refurbished by our piano rebuilding team and was well maintained over the years by qualified piano technicians. The mahogany ‘art case’ hepple white style cabinet is in fine condition and has been completely refinished. The piano features mostly original action parts, but has received brand new bass strings. The under felted hammers have been shaped, the keys leveled and the original ivory key tops restored. The piano includes the matching original bench.
