About This Listing

This listing is for an original vintage Vox Consort Electric Guitar Body. This was a rare model made by Vox in the UK in the early/mid 1960's. The body is a vibrant red color and the finish shows lots of weather checking and play wear such as nicks, dings and scratches around the edges. There is a bit of a tan line from the pickguard and tremolo unit that had originally come on the guitar. There are a couple areas of darker discoloration on the back of the body. The body has not been routed or modified and all of the screw holes are original. The only hardware that the body comes with is the input jack plate. The listing is for a the body only as pictured and is for a custom project and will require the work of a professional guitar tech or luthier to make playable.
