Vintage LP Clave
For your consideration are these vintage Latin Percussion Clave from the original Martin Cohen Garfield, New Jersey era. This model has been long discontinued. They are similar to the current LP African Clave or the LP212 but are larger and made from kiln dried maple. The clave measures 12" by 1 3/4". The striker measures 9 3/4 by 7/8. Together they weigh approximately 12 oz. There are no scratches, dings, or dents or any signs of use (please see pix).

  • Traditional African-style Clave (12"L x 1.75"W) and Striker (9 3/4 L x 7/8" W)
  • Kiln-dried hardwood construction
  • Cut away sound chamber features a hollowed center for broader, more open tones
  • Produces deep, rich tones with remarkable projection
