This is a cast aluminum Oahu string retainer-( where you hook your strings on the guitar.) cast aluminum finish. I'm not sure which late 1930's to early 1940's models use this but I had to put a model down so I put the Tonemaster. THE writing on the casting on the back reads Oahu plus some other numbers and letters .I'll have to update the listing.
