You are bidding on a vintage 1974 Fender Mustang. All original; the pots with readable codes, neck and pickups all date 1974, and there are no solder breaks. The neck is straight with low, easy action, and very comfortable to play. There is some fret wear in the first and second positions, but still plenty of life left in the frets (see photos). The pickups sound great: crisp, clear tones when played clean. Add a little distortion, and you'll see why Kurt Cobain favored these guitars! Pickup slide switches function, but as is common with these, sometimes need a little jiggle to find the sweet spot.
Cosmetically, this is in overall VG+ condition, and the sunburst finish looks great. Photos will show some minor blemishes, dings, and marks. But nothing like you'd expect on an almost 50-year-old guitar. The original hard shell case is included.
This guitar will ship professionally setup and ready to go!
