About This Listing

Selling my PRS Custom 24 in Scarlet Red with “10” top.

I am the original owner of this guitar and purchased it new in 1994. The gold hardware is original from the factory. Guitar is in Excellent condition but listed as very good due to a couple finish chips on the edge of the body. The biggest issue with this guitar is the couple chips in the headstock as shown. Can be drop filled but I’d take it to a pro. No dings in the neck. Minimal fret-ware but could use a good polish. Original case in good used condition.

I also have this guitar listed locally and on TGP, and reserve the right to pull this listing at any time.

Product Overview
This "in-between" phase of the PRS Custom 24 marks the switch from Brazilian Rosewood to Indian Rosewood, though the 5-way rotary selector was still in place at this time, later replaced by a "blade" switch as is used on the most recent production guitars. This era also saw the first "explosion" of finish / color options offered by PRS.
