Original vintage H serial 1980’s fender ST-57 1957 reissue MIJ Strat in gorgeous playing condition. These 80’s Japanese reissues have developed a well earned reputation as monster players, and have become slavishly pursued by collectors and players alike. They are truly beautiful instruments from the acme of Japanese craft; head and shoulders above anything fender USA was producing at the time (or since, imho) and really are the inheritors of the original 1950’s and 1960’s lineage.
This fine example is no exception, and plays like a pampered pet. The neck is arrow straight and true, simply effortless, and she holds excellent tune even with vigorous surfing. Original pickups are spanky, slinky, and stratty, and she just sings.
Cosmetically, she’s very nice as well, with lots of yummy vintage patina and lacquer wear, all earned, all skin deep, and all included at no extra charge. She ships in a quality gig bag, not pictured. Enjoy!!!
