Bought this used from Chicago Music Exchange in 2018. Played very inconsistently in last few years and played at a handful of gigs - a beautiful guitar in excellent condition, just not my cup of tea and has mostly sat in the closet!
Never had a problem with playability, intonation, action or sound. Original Filter'Tron Pickups. 1999 is a couple of years before Gretsch was purchased by Fender.
Professionally set up in 8/2021
-
To Note:- Include Gretsch Hard case has a couple of spots where the black leather scuffed so there's tape over those pieces (see pictures)
- Tiny finish crack on treble side side of neck heel (Hard to see but tried to capture in last photo)
- Volume knob is wiggling loose a little. Nut under the pot just needs to be tightened underneath during next set up
- Below are original notes from my purchase in 2018
