Deering Boston USA Banjo Resonator

The Deering Boston Acoustic-Electric Banjo is tuned like a guitar and has a fantastic tone that is the preferred sound in country recording studios and in non-traditional bands like the Keith Urban Band. Keith uses this as his banjo when on the road and in the studio.

The Deering Boston 6-string banjo has big resonant bass notes that you don't find on a 5-string banjo, and also crisp highs for that beautiful banjo tone. The Kavanjo Banjo Pickup provides professional sound when playing live or in the studio. Other features include a Mahogany resonator with white binding, tropical American Mahogany neck, arched Ebony fingerboard, 3/16 inch nickel plated steel rim and 24-piece butterfly flange.

Tone: Has the sweet sound of mahogany with less sustain for clear notes. Crisp highs and good bass response with less overtones than many banjos. Easy to play with clarity of note separation. Great for recording.
