About This Listing

PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE PURCHASING

Just like all the other Juno 106’s that have come through our shop, this beautiful creature was in need of many upgrades and a full restoration. After a good long overhaul and a month in the synth spa here at JML Studios, she has emerged a flawlessly functional synth again with zero issues to speak of. Everything works now as it should. Functionality is an A+. Outer asthmatic condition is a B. Please remember this keyboard is 40 years old and is not new. It is a vintage item so please study pictures closely before purchasing.

Everything has been addressed. Unit is American 120v edition and originally manufactured to work in the states.

REPAIR AND RESTORATION WORK:

- the carbon contacts on the
keybed has been repaired

- The I/O Pcb was cracked in the corner and the 50kb tuning pot was no responsive because the actual board was cracked an unable to make a connection so we soldered in and installed jumper cables to complete the paths.
- some tactile switches were repaired.
- a hanging note issue was resolved
- we fixed a crackling volume pot and a couple sticky faders were fixed.
- the board was debugged, deep cleaned and polished.
- We upgraded the 2 prong plug to a grounded three prong. We actually grounded the third prong too. Comes with modern
IEC power cable.
- We replaced two damaged keys and serviced the entire keybed. We fixed two other contacts that were giving us trouble.

The faceplate itself is clean as a whistle and has no scratches or rust to speak of, keys are a bit dirty but can be cleaned (see pics). Nothing is cracked or broken or has any issues. The very back of the rear of the keyboard has fading paint as you can see from the pictures and is slightly rough to the touch but I don’t think it’s rust, it just seems to be aging paint. Again, 40 years old. Keys are slightly dirty. They’re not yellowed at all they’re just a bit dirty as shown and can probably be cleaned professionally. Buyer accepts these aesthetic known and described conditions as no returns will be accepted for aesthetic reasons. These are very old vintage pieces of vintage equipment. They age and each have unique patinas and internal quirks.

Any questions please ask.
Thanks for looking, please take a moment to look at all the other listings in my shop. I have three Roland Juno 106 is for sale at this time all in varying conditions and modifications.
