Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1960's Ampeg AEB-1 Scroll Bass in its original and incredibly RARE Turquois + Black burst finish. This bass also has another rare feature for the AEB-1 as the sides of the body are solid wood. It has a good playing neck with good frets. The truss rod was replaced along with the entire fretboard and the nut. All other parts are original. It's also 100% complete with the exception of the decorative silver discs from the tops of the knobs and the mute pads. A later hardshell case is included. This AEB-1 looks great with nicks + dings, some finish checking and other cosmetic wear. The bass itself remains structurally sound. All electronics work and sound true to the '60's AEB-1 bass tone designed to emulate the sound of an upright bass.
