Studio Wall Art - The Casio KX100 Boombox Keyboard Cassette

Part of a Gear as Visual Art series of 10 pieces created in a 2021 for a collection called “GeArt”.

Mounted on ancient wood pulled from the basement of an old house I lived in. Then refashioned into mounting backs for each. Stained with a homemade iron oxide, vinegar and flaxseed oil mix. Single Cable Hanging.

This piece is semi-functional - it does work. One *could* plug it in, I left the cord in and wall ready; hook up a Bluetooth receiver to the Aux and use it as a Wireless BoomBox on the wall Art. Or just listen to Radio -the radio works. Keyboard might work; Tape is totally unknown condition.
