Vintage MXR Envelope Filter. Script back, no power supply plug or LED, which makes this one of the earliest ones, and hence somewhere along the holy grail spectrum. (These Envelope Filters never came with script fronts). Lots of little nicks, chips, scratches & scrapes, but nothing major.
Still has original insulation, which is deteriorating, but still functionally fine. I was going to clean it up, but figured I'd leave it as is for originality. It would be easy enough to slip some new insulation in there if you wanted to.
The pot code on one pot (the other has some insulation sticking to it that I didn't want to mess with) has a 1979 date code. I think the first of these with the original script back were made 76-79, so there you go.
This is a really great sounding pedal. Believe the hype of those few actually in the know.
