Ludwig 1930's 'Peacock Pearl Outfit' in Original Peacock Pearl Gen. II' - 14x27.5 & 5x14

All original parts, no mods or replacements / Original & very rare Peacock Pearl 2nd Generation, early 30’s finish / The bass drum is indeed a 27.5”, we ordered custom Bovid calfskin heads to fit correctly. Brand new calf on both sides / The bass drum wrap is in much better shape than the snare. There is a more yellow’d fade in one section, see photos. The wrap is tight & snug, majority of the pink is faded but you’ll see some of it next to heads / The hoops were split at one point but glue’d back together & are sturdy as is. The inlay isn’t completely in full, majority is there however. / Single tension bass drum, tunes from one side / The interior is very clean, 3ply mahogany with Aero-Kraft tag / The snare drum finish is pretty rough, definitely wouldn’t recommend playing it out. It would make an incredible showpiece however. This wrap is extremely brittle and on the snare it has flaked off all around the shell. However, the previous owner carefully glue’d down section by section. It looks somewhat like a puzzle from up close but from a few feet away, you’d never know. / The snare is all original in it’s ‘Standard Model’ outfit. It has the beautiful & unique timepiece strainer that still functions smooth. The snare is a 10 lug. Nickel hardware. Single flange hoops. Calfskin on the reso but oversized modern aquarian on the batter. Solid Shell Maple.
