This is a single tenor drum from a set of marching toms (quads, tenors, multi-toms). Premier drums are increasingly rare these days, especially the marching drums, and this drum is discontinued.
This drum has been used successfully on recordings, and live performances as a modern take on a timbale within a drum kit. Compared to a timbale, this drum is louder, and clearer. It is also durable, tunable and versatile.
It can be incorporated back into a set of marching quads, or used in a tom line for beginning students. No hardware is included however, so mounting will take some planning.
