Requiring a copy of Pianoteq 5.2 or higher, the Hohner Collection brings the sound of four well-regarded, vintage Hohner keyboards to your computer; the Electra-piano, the Clavinet D6, the Pianet N, and the Pianet T. All of these are electro-mechanical pianos manufactured between the 1960s and the 1980s. The sounds of these instruments can be heard on classic Beatles records, as well as offerings by Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, the Zombies, and more. This software is compatible with Mac and Windows platforms, as long as you have a registered copy of Pianoteq 5.2 or higher.

Note:

You must have a registered, purchased instance of Pianoteq 5.2 or higher to use this software. Instruments Sampled and Emulated Electra-Piano In the Electra-piano, forks are struck by hammers and their electronically converted vibrations are transmitted to a transistorized amplifier. Clavinet D6 In the Clavinet D6, strings are struck by small rubber tips and pressed on to an anvil. Two pickups amplify the vibrations of these strings. Pianet In the Pianet N, reeds are plucked by electrostatic pick-ups and leather and foam pads. In the Pianet T, reeds are plucked by silicone rubber pads, resulting in the mellower sound often heard in the 1970's. The resulting vibrations are converted into electrical signals via an electro-magnetic pick-up.
