We were really excited when we learnt about the SUB Stering series from Musicman. Many players need the bite and trademark sound of a Musicman but just don't have the budget to go or a US made Stingray or even a Sterling model. We are happy to report that the value for money here is just about perfect. These are well built basses that manage to capture the sound you expect from a Musicman bass but for a price that won't leave a hole in your pocket.
A powerful humbucker is used and wired in Parallel mode plus you get 2 bands of EQ to further match the sound of the bass to your amp or the venue while keeping at all times the trademark sound that made Musicman basses famous.
The low B is surprisingly loud and strong. One more reason to buy this bass.
To sum up: if you are on a budget and want a Musicman bass, look no further. This is it.
