Luthier Jimmy Coppolo was always told that "they don't make 'em like they used to anymore," so when he began crafting basses he held to a vision of building to compete with and complement the old school. His designs pay homage to the classic Fender basses held so dearly by those who know them. Cutting his own bodies and magnets, and winding and wiring his own custom pickups and preamps, he infuses his own artistry, creativity, and technical range into instruments capable of modern feats while retaining the look, feel, sound, quality, and spirit of the classics. He produces a very limited number of basses every year, and as such they are rare and unique. His basses are crafted with built-in soul and hand-made feel, in the USA.

In addition to usual hand craftsmanship, effortless playability, and awesome vintage vibe (and sound!), this bass features Jimmy's hand-wound Resurrection pickups with decommissioned/recommissioned vintage wire to get a truly authentic vintage tone. Also, it's finished in a beautiful Emerald Burst, and the fingerboard is an awesome, dark slab of Brazilian Rosewood.

This bass shows some typical playwear in the form of buckle rash and light surface scraches on the back and front (particularly on the pickguard).
