Here are the new CVPlate-RS features for 2026:

-Easy, front-panel access to 4 x 2520-style discrete opamps. Customize your sound with lots of different CVPA opamps specifically designed to work with the CVPlate-RS!

All-new 7-Segment LED 1U Rackmount/Desktop Remote Control Unit:

-Can be delivered as a 1RU rackmount or desktop config (and you can switch it anytime).

-0.1s display increments for accurate decay time display

-Green +/- LEDs show stepper direction when active/moving.

-6 x User recall buttons (hold 3s to program) and comprehensive menu/config.

-10/100 Mbps+ Ethernet network compatible w/RJ45 connector (can connect to routers/Wifi/etc.).

-Virtually unlimited simultaneous remotes (great for multi-room studios).

HTML Web Remote Control:

-Virtually all hardware remote functions duplicated in web remote (except menu/config).

-Large buttons optimized for easy touchscreen operation on mobile devices.

-0.1s display increments for accurate decay time display/recall.

-Green ◄► Arrows show stepper direction when active/moving.

-Web only features: Enter the decay time directly using your numpad. Single-button homing.

Low-noise Stepper Motor Remote Control:

-Industrial Japanese SANMOTION stepper motor driven by low-noise German Trinamic TMC2209 driver.

-EMI/EMC filtering for essentially zero audio band & RF interference during stepper operation.

-Stepper motor shuts off instantly after each move for absolutely silent operation.

-Low-noise damper movement allows you to hear reverb decay time changes easily.

-Automatic "sensorless homing" eliminates damper position sensor, limit switch, and DC voltage amp.

-Stepper speed and homing sensitivity adjustable in hardware remote config menu.

-Additional/duplicate decay time buttons on back panel of main unit (with homing and reset features).

-10/100 Mbps+ ethernet network compatibility (RJ45 connector compatible with shielded cables).

Plate descriptions:

Standard Brass (free) - 0.7s - 4.5s @ 500hz - Longest high freq. decay time - Medium resonance

My most recommended plate: works with the most sources and is easiest to mix with. If you are a fan of the EMT 140, the extended high-freq. decay of this plate will get you as close as possible to that classic sound (for a small plate).

Thick Brass (+$100USD) - 0.8s - 7.7s @ 500hz - Medium high freq. decay time - Medium resonance

If you want a "spacey/ambient" reverb sound - this is the plate for you! Warmer than standard brass because of the reduced high-freq. decay (as such, it won't reverberate high freq. instruments as long).

Contact me for other "special-use" plate options available for those that want more "rare/unusual/unique" plate sounds (however I highly recommend Standard Brass for your first plate!).

Condition: Brand-new. Small scratches/scrapes/imperfections throughout - common to custom hand-made & thoroughly tested items.

Special considerations: The CVPlate should be located in a quiet equipment room, closet, or humidity/temp controlled basement for best isolation from vibrations and noise. The unit must be kept away from strong sources of RFI (high powered WiFi router) or EMR (power transformers, electric motors, microwaves, etc.).

NOTE: The design of the CVPlate will be constantly improved as new units ship out - current specifications/cosmetics may change from the unit pictured without notice.
