1973 Guild jumbo acoustic guitar. I've owned this guitar for about ten years. It's in good shape. When I first got it, I had a luthier give it a major overhaul, including replaning the fretboard, a refret, putting in a new bone nut and saddle, and installing a K&K pickup internally (jack is in the strap hook).
This guitar has a rich, deep voice, exactly what you would hope for from an aged jumbo. The tuners are quality and still work well all these decades later. It has rosewood back and sides (Brazilian rosewood I've been told, but I'm not able to verify that). It sounds great when strumming or finger picking. Excellent bass response, as you would expect.
Please know that this guitar does need a neck reset. It is very playable in the first 3-4 frets, but above that, it becomes difficult to play. Also, at some point before I got it, someone removed the finish on the sound board and stained it. From what I understand, this was done to help make the sound board more lively. It has been priced accordingly.
Comes with a form-fitting, heavy-duty hard shell TKL case.
