We are selling this Gibson Les Paul junior that has been modded with extra pickup, switches and two output jacks for stereo with the owners thinks his brother wired some out of phase. I would be able to have a better explanation but my guitar tech is recovering from an operation last week. It is listed in fair condition becasue there is extensive checking and a few nicks on the back of the headstock between the 8th and 11th frets. The frets are in good condition and there are many nicks and dents.

The guitar alone weighs 6 lbs 11 oz and inside the case the total weight is 15 lb 13.1 oz

The serial number is 71279 and the Gibson website dater shows

it was made "1962–1964

The number alone can't narrow it down further. Your certificate, receipt or the guitar's features will tell you which one it is.

Die-stamped serial (1961–1969)

Gibson reused serial numbers in the 1960s, so 71279 legitimately fits 1962, 1963, 1964. The number can't pin the year alone, confirm with potentiometer date codes, nut width (~1‑11/16" pre‑'65) and hardware."
