Our users rate Reverb
Akai Professional Advance 49-key USB/MIDI keyboard controller in excellent condition. Very clean, well cared for, lightly used, and fully functional.
A versatile MIDI controller designed for hands-on control of virtual instruments, synthesizers, and music production software. Features a full-color display, expressive keybed, MPC-style drum pads, and deep integration with Akai's VIP software platform.
Key Features:
- 49 full-size, velocity-sensitive keys with aftertouch
- 8 RGB-backlit MPC-style pads with velocity and pressure sensitivity
- 8 endless rotary encoders for hands-on parameter control
- High-resolution full-color display for browsing and controlling virtual instruments
- Dedicated pitch bend and modulation wheels
- USB and traditional MIDI connectivity
- Sustain and expression pedal inputs
- Compatible with Ableton Live, Pro Tools, and other major DAWs
VIP Software Integration:
Originally designed for Akai's VIP software, which allows users to browse, load, layer, and control compatible virtual instruments directly from the keyboard. The controller also works as a standard MIDI keyboard without VIP. VIP software and driver compatibility varies by operating system.
Condition & Included:
- Excellent cosmetic and working condition
- Minimal signs of use
- All keys, pads, knobs, buttons, and display functioning properly
- Includes USB cable as pictured
The keyboard is currently registered with Akai/inMusic. I'm happy to assist with transferring the hardware registration to the new owner if needed. Availability and transfer of bundled VIP software licenses are subject to Akai's policies and approval.
Great for producers, keyboard players, and home studio setups looking for an expressive controller with extensive hands-on functionality.
