PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING

This 1960 Fender Jazzmaster has been part of my personal collection for several years, but I’ve decided it’s time to pass it along to its next owner.

The serial number (45095) dates the guitar to 1960, although the neck is stamped 2-61. My assumption is that the body was completed and set aside before being paired with the neck. The potentiometers have been replaced, but I think it’s the original pots that are included in the case. I’ve also upgraded the bridge to a Mastery bridge; the original bridge is included as well. The original tremolo arm is also included. The body looks like what you’d expect from a 66 year old guitar. Dings and things throughout but nothing is splitting or broken. The pick guard is lifting in some places but it’s all part of the character.

I believe the remaining electronics are original, although I cannot independently verify every component. The guitar comes with its original case.

The instrument plays exceptionally well and has excellent resonance. Several vintage guitar experts have identified the fingerboard as Brazilian rosewood. According to the previous owner, who was also the original owner, the top was refinished in 1971.
