According to the serial numbers these are 3 ply mahogany poplar mahogany. i bought these from a local drum shop 3 years ago they said they were 1 owner. I changed the heads, tuned them, and displayed them. Original wrap, I don’t believe these were really played much at all, Judging by their condition. Hardware is clean. Bass drum wrap has a couple small surface marks, 2 on top and one on the side where something made contact. Bearing edges are fine. This is not a like new condition kit, but very well maintained 59 year old vintage set of drums. The bass drum t- handles on the batter side are not original which is how I got them. They sound fantastic
