I purchased this for a bass that I then sold and it was barely used. These are no longer made as far as I know. From Hipshot: "The BT8 is a direct replacement for the stock tuning machine featured on Fender® standard basses made between 2007 and 2012".
It has two pegs that match up to locating holes on the headstock and the Fender F on the cover. This is a closed cover type not to be confused with the BT12 for later Am Standard Fenders which is an open gear type.
