Schecter Damien Platinum-9 Electric Guitar in Satin Black

The Damien Platinum-9 is a 9-string extended-range instrument built for modern metal and progressive applications. Its thin 'C' neck profile and 30" scale deliver comfortable upper-fret access without sacrificing clarity across the expanded lower register, while the satin black finish with platinum hardware projects refined professionalism.

Playability & Construction

A mahogany body with set-neck construction and Ultra Access upper-fret design combines tonal warmth with practical ergonomics. The 3-piece maple neck reinforced with dual carbon fiber rods, paired with a rosewood fretboard, 24 X-Jumbo frets, and a 20" radius, accommodates both aggressive playing techniques and precise articulation across all nine strings.

Tone & Electronics

Dual EMG 909 active pickups deliver articulate, high-output tones suited to heavy gain applications, controlled via independent volume and tone controls plus a 3-way selector. The Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body design maximizes sustain and resonance, while the 9-volt battery compartment powers the active electronics with consistent output.

This specific B-Stock unit features minor cosmetic imperfections: a small hole on the back of the body from the manufacturing process and a finish crack with finish run-off at the tip of the lower horn. These marks are purely superficial and have absolutely zero impact on the playability, tone, or structural integrity of the guitar.
