Slingerland Krupa Jr 7N drum set for sale with cases/bags to protect them in shipping. This Slingerland Chicago kit from roughly 1958-62 includes the 4 drums that were listed in the catalog with this kit plus I added a Slingland Niles Badge 12x15" marching snare converted to floor tom in a close color wrap. The original vintage bearing edge cut, combined with this shells and reinforcing hoops give these drums that characteristic warm, full vintage sound.

Bass: 12x22 single tension with original hoops, faucet handle tension rods, and badge. It also includes a pair of Danmar hoop clamp spurs. The original red finish on the hoops is still intact with a few chips and scratches. Someone drilled it to accommodate a vintage tom holder. I removed it and added screws to dress it up because I used a tom stand. I'll include the dual tom holder bracket (1" wide tube) and the bass drum mount in case you need it. The tripod stand base is not included in the shipping price because it's very heavy, but I can include it if needed. There is a small area that looks like it took a hit and cracked the shell but it's stable and doesn't affect the bearing edge or roundness.

Rack toms: The 7x10 and 8x12 rack toms were originally sold from Slingerland in this kit with single calf heads, single flanged clip hoops, an no badges. They used bass drum hoop clip mounts, which were not with the set when I purchased it. At some point, they were professionally converted to double head toms and triple flanged hoops to allow use with modern heads. The old single flanged hoops were often too narrow to fit around modern heads. The shells apparently had some care taken because they show small signs of glue repair to fix typical delamination and ply separation. Some interior shell paint shows cracking where the tom mount hardware attaches, and the 10" tom shows a small rectangular scuff on the wrap.

The 5.5x14 6 lug snare has its original throwoff with reproduction foldable extension lever. It has puresound snare wires and triple flanged hoops.

The 12x15 Slingerland Niles badge marching snare is included with Suspenderz floor tom mounts, legs, and brackets. It also retains its original badge, and key holder.

The floor tom in a case with 10" rack tom in a bag inside, and the 12" tom in its own case. We can also arrange local pickup if you wish to avoid shipping.
