Particles is a 4-channel trigger manipulator and groove generator designed to transform and vary trigger and clock patterns with mathematical precision. Taking four incoming trigger signals alongside a master clock input, it offers deep rhythmic tools including distribution-based trigger repetitions (ratchets), input shifting and scrambling across channels, probability-based trigger skipping, an 'absorb' mode that removes repeats based on probability, and a division-based 'gater' mute mode. Each channel features individual bypass switches, slider-based parameter attenuation, per-channel reset capabilities, external CV inputs for rate, shift, prob, and absorb, plus four processed trigger outputs and a dedicated clocked random output.
