The GT STP-G guitar studio preamp has been a staple of many studios and sports a 25 watt amp section with punch much like the deluxe reverb with an amazing overdrive gain stage. This amp sounds amazing ranging from crystal clear Fender Deluxe tones to Mesa-like overdrive with its extra gain stage. Just dial in your favorite midrange with variable mid-boost and treble brightness switches. The amp has been fully tested. It comes with Groove Tubes tubes and is in excellent condition. It's previous owner kept it in their studio with light use since new.

The Groove Tubes (GT Electronics) STP (such as the STP-G for guitar or STP-B for bass) is a vintage tube preamp, speaker emulator, and recording/stage unit built by GT Electronics (often associated with Aspen Pittman)

* Purpose: Designed to plug directly into a recording console or live sound rig, delivering real power tube tone, compression, and overdrive at manageable volume levels.

* Tones: Modeled loosely around classic Fender blackface (e.g., Deluxe-style) cleans up to heavier, singing overdrive and Mesa-like or British-flavored tones depending on settings and power tubes.

* Tubes & Power Section: Features integrated preamp and power tube sections (traditionally supporting tubes like 6V6s or EL34s, self-biasing or switchable depending on the exact revision like the STP-G.

* Speaker Emulation: Includes built-in speaker emulation for direct-to-board recording without needing a physical speaker cabinet miked up.

WORKING CONDITION: Excellent - Works great. All of the controls and parameters are working properly. The overall tone of this amp is very full and powerful. Everything is fully functional and in excellent condition.

PHYSICAL CONDITION: Excellent/Mint - A few minor scratches but this was a studio rack gear.
