Vintage 1977 Marshall JMP 2104 50-watt master volume 2x12 combo (serial 04348J, gold JMP panel, Marshall ST1 issue 202 preamp board, U.S.-market unit). The amp works perfectly and sounds great. It has been used and looked after, not stored.
- Fully working, no noise, hum or issues that I know of
- EL34 power tubes in good condition
- Recently installed JJ 12AX7 preamp tubes
- Some of the filter caps have been serviced
- Two Marshall-branded 12" speakers. I can't confirm whether they are original or re-coned, because the paper date code is not legible, so I am not claiming originality
- Transformers stamped 1202 164 (power) and 784 139 (output)
Cosmetics (see photos):
- Tolex chipped or lifting with exposed wood along the bottom edge, one side and the top edge
- A few small holes in the grille cloth
- Safety label inside is torn
- Normal wear on the handle, corners and feet
Note: the label on the back reads "M 2204". The chassis tag reads "50w Master Vol. Combo", and this is the 2x12 combo version of the 2204 circuit (JMP 2104).
Weight is about 65 lb. Local pickup in Miami only. Questions and extra photos welcome.
