For sale is a mid-1950s Fender, Tweed, Center-Pocket Case.
If you know this case, you know how rare they are to see, and rarer yet to find in this condition.
This is the case that would have come with some of the first year, full-scale Fender guitars. If you have a ‘50s Stratocaster or Telecaster, then you know that an original case would exponentially increase the value of your guitar.
The felt is in remarkable shape for its age with a very vibrant red color that hasn’t faded like so many have.
All latches and hinges work well. No key is included though.
The back rear of the case has a small section of the tweed that has peeled back somewhat (shown in photos). You can also see that if this were laid back and properly glued, it would be essentially unnoticeable.
